Terroir
Shallow granitic soil.
Vinification
Traditional winemaking with direct pressing and temperature control allowing the development of the original and very particular aromas of the grape variety.
Aging in tank on fine lees.
Tasting
The mouth is opulent and persistent. Of great finesse, very fragrant, with notes of bergamot, honeysuckle, and acacia honey.
Serve whith
To be enjoyed chilled, as an aperitif, it will also be wonderful with semi-cooked foie gras, or as an accompaniment to an artichoke heart fricassée.
Service
To be enjoyed chilled but not ice-cold.
Medals and comments
Viognier, an aromatic grape variety of the prestigious Condrieu, is planted in the north of the Rhône Valley, on the granitic soils of the Rhône Hills. It is also cultivated in Vin de Pays Collines Rhodaniennes.
At maturity, the harvest yields small clusters of brown-gold color with concentrated juice.
