Terroir
An early grape variety, GAMAY is grown on the granitic soils of the Haut-Vivarais region at an altitude between 250–350 m; its hardiness is perfectly suited to the Rhodanien foothills.
Tasting
The colour is ruby red, quite pronounced for a Gamay grape variety. The nose is simple with red berry fruits.
The attack is frank, with red fruit, with a fresh, pleasant finish.
Serve whith
A wine to accompany an informal snack like cold meats and cream cheeses (Cervelle des Canuts).
To be drunk slightly cool, around 12°C.
